The Southeastern Minnesota Center for Independent Living, Inc. (SEMCIL), which was founded in 1981, is a not-for-profit organization that assists people with disabilities to become independent and productive community members. Our Independent Living and Personal Care Assistance Programs promote self-sufficiency and help insure that persons with a disability have the same opportunities as members of the general public. SEMCIL, Inc's programs are available throughout Southeastern Minnesota including Olmsted, Goodhue, Winona, Rice, Mower, Freeborn, Steele, Houston, Fillmore, Wabasha, and Dodge counties, with offices in Rochester, Red Wing, and Winona. SEMCIL United Home Healthcare Choices, Inc. (SEMCIL UHHC) is a Medicare certified, Minnesota Class A licensed home care agency whose mission in to provide services that promote, maintain or return you to optimal health. SEMCIL UHHC offers many programs designed to help you manage your health with positive outcomes. SEMCIL UHHC offers services throughout Southeastern Minnesota and has a branch office in Goodhue County. SEMCIL, Inc. and SEMCIL United Home Healthcare Choices, Inc publishes a quarterly newsletter offering informative articles, agency updates, and a wide variety of various topics.
