This service insures equal access to
programs and services in communities throughout southeastern Minnesota.
SEMCIL offers:

Architectural accessibility site surveys

Home modification surveys

Assistance with locating affordable, accessible housing in SEMCIL's service area

Provides education and/or technical assistance for the housing provider industry regarding fair housing, universal design principles, "visitability" and persons with disabilities and coordinates advocacy activities that promote affordable, accessible and integrated housing.
About Ramps Project
The ramp project allows persons with a disability to move back to,
or continue living independently in their homes by improving access
and safety. The ramps are modular and constructed with treated material.
SEMCIL assists consumers to locate funding resources and insure that
ramps are constructed in a safe and cost effective manner.
